I have decided to dust off this domain and rebuild something new here. A new version of spankingresource.com will be up shortly. It will have a new look and feel, and knowing myself, I’ll probably change the design several times before I settle on something I like.

I started spankingresource.com back in December 2008. It was built on a simple WordPress install, my very first. It was a place for me to learn and immerse myself, away from what was going on in my life at the time. When I started the site, I was facing the possibility of having lymphoma. I had just undergone a procedure to remove some lymph nodes in my neck, and the surgeon was almost certain the test results would be positive. Luckily, they were not, and I made a full recovery. It was then that I knew I wanted to blog about spanking and connect with others online, and the site took off.

Spanking Resource primarily focused on spanking scenes and updates I found around the internet. Many new spanking sites were emerging, and the clip store revolution hadn’t happened yet. There were many spanking bloggers as well, though many have since stopped updating or have become advertising platforms for kink and BDSM affiliate programs.

I fond others into the fetish of spanking

This site motivated me to start attending local spanking parties. While living in Portland, Oregon, I attended Red Cheeks parties, which were held in a private home and were some of my most memorable experiences, both giving and watching great spankings. I made many amazing friends, and through these parties, I met the circle of people who introduced me to my now wife.

A few years after moving to Omaha, I attended my first national spanking party in Chicago, hosted by Crimson Moon. This led to attending other national events like BBW (Boardwalk Badness Weekend) and a smaller Vegas party called 50 Freaks.

Around this time, I began working in the adult industry both in front of and behind the camera. I was managing websites and working for a major marketing company in the adult industry. This strained my time, causing Spankingresource.com to suffer. Eventually, the site was hacked, and I was unable to restore it, so I took it down and left it untouched.

I started a Midwest spanking party

A few years later, I organized a small local gathering for spankos in Iowa and Nebraska, leading to the birth of the Omaha Spanking Society. Like many other fetish and BDSM events, COVID slowed the Omaha Spanking Society to a standstill. Recently, I have started hosting our small hotel floor parties again. However, the spanking community has changed, and the climate is different from just a few years ago.

So here I am, back at it with a new version of the site and new posts. I will repost some of my old stories and add new ones from friends. I’ll also share spanking content I find and enjoy watching.
